PCOS refers to that hormonal disorder resulting in your enlarged ovaries with small cysts on the outer edges, often causing excess androgen levels, irregular periods, and even fertility issues.
  • Endometriosis
When tissues similar to the uterus lining grow outside it, endometriosis occurs resulting in heavy periods, pelvic pain, and infertility in some cases.
  • Fibroids
Fibroids refer to non-cancerous growths within or around the uterus, leading to pelvic pain, heavy bleeding during menstruation, and symptoms of pressure.
  • Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID)
An infection of the female reproductive organs, PID often occurs due to sexually transmitted infections (STIs). This causes fever, abdominal pain, or abnormal discharge from the vagina.
  • Ovarian Cysts
Ovarian cysts are sacs filled with fluid which develop in or on an ovary. These are usually harmless, leading to bloating and pain in some cases.
  • Menstrual Disorders
These may include conditions like menorrhagia (heavy periods), dysmenorrhoea (painful periods), or amenorrhoea (absence of periods), ending up affecting your normal menstrual cycle.
  • Vaginitis
Vaginitis means infection or inflammation of the vagina, often resulting in abnormal discharge, discomfort, and itching.
  • Cervical Dysplasia
Cervical dysplasia refers to the presence of abnormal cells on the surface of the cervix, which potentially develops into cervical cancer if left untreated.
  • Uterine Prolapse
Uterine prolapsed occurs when your uterus protrudes from or descends into the vaginal canal due to weakened ligaments and pelvic muscles.
  • Pelvic Floor Disorders
These disorders include problems like pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence caused by damaged or weakened pelvic muscles.
  • Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs)
Gonorrhoea, Chlamydia, HPV, and other STIs can impact reproductive system in females and might even result in serious complications if untreated.
  • Cervical Cancer
Developing in the cells of the cervix, cervical cancer occurs due to persistent infection with high risk strains of HPV.
