Dermatology

For any skin problems you've got, do well to visit us for diagnosis. You can also schedule a 15-minute appointment for £65 with any of our GPs for evaluation. At your appointment, our GP will decide if your skin-related concern requires the service of a private dermatologist (skin specialist) through our teledermatology service.

Complete Body Mole Check

We're available for this check from 9am to 1pm every Thursday, and 10am to 2pm on Saturday.

A 45-minute appointment costs £145.

The complete body mole check is carried out by our professional dermatology nurse to identify possible tell-tale signs of melanoma (skin cancer). In the course of this check, any moles you are worried about will be examined by our nurse. You will also complete a general mole check.

Should there be any unusual moles, our nurse will take pictures of them using a powerful camera. But this will attract an extra fee of £55 per image. We will send these images using our Teledermatology service to our Consultant Dermatologist for review. A report of the analysis will be made available.

You will receive a copy of the report from our nurse, and he/she will advise if you need to consult our dermatologist for more examination.

Teledermatology

This procedure is performed by our GP. Getting a teledermatology service entails a thorough investigation of your skin condition through images with the aid of a high-quality medical photography device. This procedure is appropriate for common skin problems or any other skin abnormalities that you are currently experiencing but not certain what it is.

Some common skin conditions are:

  • Acne or cystic acne - Symptoms include pimples, cysts, and spots on the skin, commonly appearing on the back or face
  • Hives (urticaria) - This is an itchy rash that appears as if some portions of your skin are raised, and it can be due to an allergic rash
  • Eczema - A common skin problem that is characterised by dry, red, and very itchy skin
  • Psoriasis - This skin condition is characterised by flaky or scaly skin with patches of red that are sore and itchy
  • Moles - Raised or flat flesh-coloured or black spots appearing on the surface of the skin
  • Rosacea - Redness of the skin, mostly on the face

Feel free to discuss any skin-related problems you have with our GP during your appointment. The GP will take images of affected areas and send them to a private dermatologist for a diagnosis.

This service costs £55 per image plus the consultation fee.

A detailed report from the diagnosis will be sent to you within 48 hours through our patient portal once your images have been reviewed. If you need further examination or a follow-up, we will inform you.

A follow-up appointment with a GP cost £65.
